Mapeamento das pesquisas sobre o mercado de trabalho do serviço social brasileiro: características e contradições / Mapping of research on the Brazilian social service labor market: characteristics and contradictions

A proposta deste artigo consiste em apresentar resultados parciais de pesquisa sobre o mercado de trabalho do Serviço Social no Brasil. A pesquisa objetiva mapear e analisar a produção bibliográfica relativa ao tema, tendo como recorte temporal os anos de 2000 a 2019. Para tanto, recorre à metodologia estado da arte e à técnica de análise de conteúdo temática ou categorial das produções. Os resultados apontam a prevalência de pesquisas desenvolvidas nas regiões Sudeste, Sul e Nordeste do país, pelos Programas de Pós-Graduação da área, com destaque para a PUCSP, no Sudeste; a PUC-RS no Sul; e a UFRN e UFPB, no Nordeste; sendo que 81,2% das produções foram publicadas a partir de 2010. Além disso, a concentração das pesquisas, nessas regiões, não tem garantido a predominância de análises agregadas entre elas, ainda assim é possível identificar duas dimensões centrais e interligadas na análise do mercado de trabalho do Serviço Social: a) sua determinação estrutural, vinculada à sociedade do capital e configurada por transformações sócio-políticas e histórico-conjunturais; e b) suas manifestações objetivas, por meio das áreas de atuação, dos tipos de contrato, do vínculo de trabalho, do salário, da carga horária de trabalho e dos índices de desemprego, dentre outros

The purpose of this article is to present preliminary results of Brazil's Social Work labor market research. The research aims to map and analyze the bibliographic productions related to the theme, having as temporal cut the years from 2000 to 2019. For this purpose, we use state-of-art methodology and thematical or categorical content analysis technique. The results point towards the prevalence of researches developed in Southeast, South and Northeast regions of the country by Postgraduate programs in the area, with emphasis on PUCSP, in Southeast; PUC-RS, in South; UFRN and UFPB, in Northeast; albeit 81.2% of the productions were published from 2010 onward. Furthermore, the concentration of research in these regions has not ensured the predominance of aggregated analysis between them. Nonetheless, it is possible to identify two central and interconnected dimensions in the analysis of Social Work labor market: a) its structural determination, associated to the capitalist society and configured by sociopolitical and historical-contextual transformations; and b) its objectives expressions, through fields of action, type of contract, employment relationship(s), salary, working load, unemployment rates, among other things

O Serviço Social brasileiro na entrada do século XXI: considerações sobre o trabalho profissional / The Brazilian Social Work at the entrance of the XXI century: considerations of professional work

Resumo: Este artigo analisa o Serviço Social brasileiro na entrada do século XXI, refletindo a respeito das mudanças do capitalismo contemporâneo e de suas implicações para o trabalho profissional. Objetiva discutir como os assistentes sociais têm se posicionado no plano teórico-prático/interventivo e ético-político/organizativo, na tentativa de enfrentar essa realidade, defender seus valores e responder, enquanto trabalhadores assalariados dotados de estatuto intelectual, às exigências impostas pela sociedade capitalista e às necessidades sociais dos sujeitos sociais.

Abstract: This article analyzes the Brazilian Social Service at the entrance of the century, reflecting on the changes of contemporary capitalism and its implications for employment. It aims to discuss how social workers has positioned itself in the theoretical and practical plan / interventional and ethical-political / organizational in an attempt to address the current reality, to defend its values ​​and respond as salaried workers with intellectual status, the requirements imposed by capitalist society and social needs of social subjects.

A particularidade da dimensão investigativa na formação e prática profissional do assistente social / The peculiarity of the investigative dimension in the social worker's formation and professional practice

O artigo problematiza "como" a dimensão investigativa tem sido construída nos cursos de graduação em Serviço Social na atualidade, bem como se os discursos críticos vinculados à investigação e edificados na academia têm conseguido alimentar a ação profissional. Para tanto, recorre à pesquisa bibliográfica e de campo. Os resultados preliminares indicam que a precarização do ensino superior, da formação profissional, das condições de trabalho docente e do assistente social, bem como sua condição assalariada e o compromisso com a qualidade dos serviços e com a formação intelectual são centrais para análise do tema.

The article brings forward two questions: "how" the investigative dimension has been built up in the graduation courses of Social Work nowadays, and "if" the critical discourses that are linked to investigation and built up in the university can foster the professional action. To do so, both bibliography and field research were undertaken. The preliminary results show that the precariousness of university courses, professional formation, teaching conditions, social workers' working conditions, as well as their salaried condition and the commitment with the quality of the work and the intellectual formation are central to the analysis of the theme.

A "viagem de volta": significados da pesquisa na formação e prática profissional do Assistente Social / The "return": mean of research both in the training and in the professional practice in Social Work

The article discusses research on training and professional practice. At first, performs a historical overview on the research and production of knowledge in social work, seeking to identify the "changes" ethical-political and theoretical and methodological experienced by research discipline. Then discusses the relationship of research to professional practice of social work today, identifying some of its main directions. Defend the meaning of knowledge production as "a constitutive element of professional action" (Nogueira, 2010, p. 1). Finally, it indicates the need to deepen this discussion from a dive and current analytical regarding the main trends of capitalist society and its impact on research in the field of training and professional practice in Social Work.

Para quê, para quem, como? Alguns desafios do cotidiano da pesquisa em serviço social / What for, for whom, how? Some daily challenges of the research in Social Services

Para quê, para quem e como pesquisamos? Estas são as indagações centrais deste artigo. Seu objetivo é discutir alguns desafios que transitam no cotidiano da pesquisa, bem como apresentar algumas ferramentas que propomos para a condução de tal processo, no contexto da formação profissional em Serviço Social. Defendemos o reconhecimento do exercício da pesquisa como estratégia de conhecimento e ação e, portanto, como dimensão constitutiva do trabalho do assistente social, ressaltando que tão importantes quanto as descobertas no campo do saber, são as estratégias de intervenção social a elas articuladas.

What for, for whom and how do we research? These are the central issues of this article. Its purpose is to discuss challenges found in the daily research and to present some tools to conduct this process in the context of professional training in Social Services. We support the recognition of conducting research as a strategy for knowledge and action and thus as the constitutive dimension of the social worker's job. We point out that the discoveries in the field of knowledge are as important as the social intervention strategies that are related to such discoveries.
